This 60 minute beginner friendly practice combines basic yoga postures with Qi Gong.
Literally translated, "Qi" is energy and "Gong" is work.  Together, Qi Gong means "breath work" and refers to breathing exercises and body movements designed to promote well being and health.  It's history in China dates back two thousand years and over time, many different styles of Qi Gong were developed.  Most styles are practiced for their health benefits but there are some that are built around self defense techniques.  Qi Gong exercises are similar to yoga postures.  They enhance the flow of energy (qi) in the body which in turn helps to rejuvenate internal organs, keep bones strong, and muscles and ligaments supple.
